Regular Season Round 5: Turk Telekom - Fenerbahce 76-74

First defeat of league's leader Fenerbahce (4-1) against third ranked Turk Telekom (3-1) 76-74 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Fenerbahce. Point guard Batuhan Acar (-2) orchestrated the victory by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds. Yigit Ozkan (-1) contributed with 22 points and 8 assists for the winners. Azerbaijani center Saadettin Donat (204) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and Sayhan Yetkin (-3) added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Fenerbahce. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Turk Telekom maintains third place with 3-1 record having just three points less than leader Tofas. Fenerbahce at the other side dropped to the second position with one game lost. They share it with TAC NEF. They were replaced at the leadership position by Tofas. Fenerbahce will play next round against league's leader Tofas trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Turk Telekom will try to continue on its current victory against ninth ranked Bahcehir in Acibadem.
