The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Baunach as it allowed them to take a leadership position in South. Baunach defeated 7th ranked FC Bayern II at home 80-67. Baunach looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was naturalized Croatian Mateo Seric (204-99) who scored 21 points and 6 rebounds. Croatian-Austrian Leon Bulic (210-1) chipped in 18 points. Four Baunach players scored in double figures. Baunach's coach Mario Dugandzic used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
