Regular Season Round 6: Stuttgart - Tuebingen 2 80-75

There was a minor upset when higher ranked Tuebingen II (2-4) was defeated on the road by thirteenth ranked Stuttgart (2-4) 80-75 on Sunday. Stuttgart made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Tuebingen II was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American power forward Nick Mosley (203-88, college: Tarleton St.) who had a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds. Guard Simion Habtemichael (191-96) chipped in 21 points and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Nico Hihn who recorded 33 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds and Latvian Aksels Skaistlauks (195-97) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Tuebingen II's coach Manuel Pasios tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Stuttgart moved-up to ninth place in South-West, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Tuebingen II. Stuttgart will face higher ranked TV Langen (#5) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
