The most surprising game was the first loss of Fenerbahce (4-1) in Istanbul on Sunday night. Visitors were rolled over by sixth ranked Galatasaray (4-1) 83-64. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Fenerbahce. American forward Greg Whittington (203-93, college: Georgetown) stepped up and scored 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and his fellow American import Aaron Harrison (198-94, college: Kentucky) chipped in 14 points, 8 assists and 4 steals. French guard Nando De-Colo (196-87) responded with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Greek point guard Kostas Sloukas (197-90) scored 12 points and 6 assists. Four Fenerbahce players scored in double figures. Galatasaray have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Fenerbahce. Galatasaray is looking forward to face Tofas (#4) in Bursa in the next round. Fenerbahce will play at home against Afyon Bld and is hoping to win this game.
