Regular Season Round 6: Stade - Langenhagen 75-65

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 8th ranked Langenhagen's (2-3) road loss to seventh ranked Stade (3-1) 65-75 on Sunday. Stade had a 29-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Spanish point guard Nil Angelats (185-93) who scored 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). Spanish power forward Oscar Andres (200-87) chipped in 17 points and 9 rebounds. Four Stade players scored in double figures. Stade's coach Joan Rallo-Fernandez used a ten-player rotation saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Devon Moore (193-89, college: JMU) who recorded 22 points and center Marcel Schwarz (203-90) added 16 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Stade moved-up to sixth place in North. Loser Langenhagen keeps the eighth position with three games lost. Stade will face league's second-placed Wolmirstedt on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Langenhagen will play against WSG Koenigs (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
