The game in Traiskirchen supposed to be also worth to mention about. Second ranked Gmunden Swans (4-1) played at the court of 6th ranked Arkadia Lions (2-3). Gmunden Swans smashed Arkadia Lions 88-67. It looked good early as Arkadia Lions took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Gmunden Swans had a 24-22 second period charge getting the lead and Arkadia Lions were not able to take back game control losing it eventually 67-88. Gmunden Swans dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Arkadia Lions' 40. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Gmunden Swans maintains second place with 4-1 record behind leader Klosterneuburg, which they share with Oberwart. Arkadia Lions at the other side keep the sixth position with three games lost. Gmunden Swans' next round opponent will be UBSC Graz (#8) at home which should be theoretically another easy game. Arkadia Lions will play against Raiffeisen Flyers Wels and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
