ProA top team - Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (8-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Science City Jena (6-2) 100-80. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven made 29-of-35 charity shots (82.9 percent) during the game, while Science City Jena only scored ten points from the stripe. They outrebounded Science City Jena 32-21 including a 26-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. Science City Jena was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Naturalized Polish swingman Dennis Nawrocki (193-92) added 16 points for the hosts. Five Eisbaeren Bremerhaven and four Science City Jena players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 8-0 record. Science City Jena at the other side dropped to the third place with two games lost. They share the position with Heidelberg and Nuernberg. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven will play against league's second-placed Chemnitz at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
