The game between Top Four teams took place in Chemnitz. Third ranked host Chemnitz (7-1) defeated second-ranked MLP Academics Heidelberg (6-2) 90-78. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of MLP Academics Heidelberg. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Chemnitz have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. MLP Academics Heidelberg at the other side dropped to the third position with two games lost. They share it with Jena and Nuernberg. Chemnitz are looking forward to face league's leader Eisbaeren Bremerhaven on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. MLP Academics Heidelberg will play against Gladiators and is hoping to win this game.
