Regular Season Round 5: LTH Castings - Parklji 76-78

A very interesting game took place in Skofja Loka. It ended with only two-point home defeat of 10th ranked LTH Castings (1-4) to fourth ranked Parklji (3-2) 78-76 on Saturday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. LTH Castings were tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. The best player for the winners was guard Adrian Hirschmann (190-0) who scored 20 points. Igor Tratnik (207-89) chipped in 22 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Point guard Jernej Heine (185-0) produced 15 points and 5 assists and guard Luka Kures (192-98) added 16 points and 5 assists respectively for the hosts. Four LTH Castings players scored in double figures. Parklji maintains fourth place with 3-2 record. LTH Castings lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the ninth position with four games lost. Parklji's next round opponent will be Portoroz (#8) at home. LTH Castings will play against Medvode and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
