Regionalliga top team - Koeln Rh.Stars (9-1) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat twelfth ranked BSV Wulfen (3-7) 82-69. Forward Max Dohmen (204-88) fired 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Forward Benedict Van-Laack (196-97) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. Four Koeln Rh.Stars players scored in double figures. Koeln Rh.Stars' coach Johannes Strasser used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American point guard Bryant Allen (183-90, college: Dakota St.) produced 22 points and 5 rebounds and guard Hendrik Bellscheidt (193-90) added 14 points respectively for lost side. The victory was the third consecutive win for Koeln Rh.Stars. They maintain first place in West with 9-1 record. Newly promoted BSV Wulfen dropped to the tenth position with seven games lost. Koeln Rh.Stars' next round opponent will be Dorsten (#8) at home and are hoping to win another game. BSV Wulfen will play against Herford and hope to win that game.
