Undefeated leader Pinar Karsiyaka delivered the sixth consecutive victory on Saturday night. This time they crushed 7th ranked Turk Telekom (3-3) 85-66. Point guard Tony Taylor (185-90, college: GWU) scored 20 points to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Brandon Triche (193-91, college: Syracuse) chipped in 9 points and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international center Egemen Guven (210-96) with 13 points and 6 rebounds and Muhammed Baygul (191-92) scored 12 points and 5 assists. Four Turk Telekom players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pinar Karsiyaka (6-0) have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 6 victories in a row. Loser Turk Telekom dropped to the eighth place with three games lost. They share the position with Bursaspor. Pinar Karsiyaka will meet bottom-ranked Acibadem (#16) in the next round which should be an easy win for them.
