Regular Season Round 10: Neptunas-Akv. - Silales Lusis 77-82

Very important is a home loss of third ranked Neptunas-Akv. (7-3) against fifteenth ranked Silales Lusis (3-7) on Saturday night. Host Neptunas-Akv. was defeated by Silales Lusis in a tough game in Klaipeda 77-82. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Neptunas-Akv.. Silales Lusis looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Center Eimantas Zilius (200-99) notched a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and point guard Modestas Jurkaitis (187-95) supported him with 6 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists. Even a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds by center Vytautas Sarakauskas (204-82) did not help to save the game for Neptunas-Akv.. Deividas Rasys (197-97) added 12 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Silales Lusis moved-up to thirteenth place. Loser Neptunas-Akv. dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. Silales Lusis will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Neptunas-Akv. will play against Delikatesas (#10) in Joniskis and hope to secure a win.
