Everything could happen in Ankara at the game between two tied teams. Both third ranked Turk Telekom and one of their biggest challengers Ozel Gelisim Koleji had identical 3-2 record. This time Turk Telekom used a home court advantage and outleveled the opponent from Izmir 88-60 on Saturday night. Turk Telekom dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Ozel Gelisim Koleji's 34. Turk Telekom forced 19 Ozel Gelisim Koleji turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Turk Telekom maintains third position with 4-2 record behind leader Anadolu Efes, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Ozel Gelisim Koleji dropped to the fifth place with three games lost. Turk Telekom will face Galatasaray (#4) in Istanbul in the next round. Ozel Gelisim Koleji will play at home against the league's second-placed Tofas and hope to win that game.
