No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked SSV Lok Bernau (4-3) beat 12th ranked RSV Eintracht (1-6) in Stahnsdorf 79-74 on Saturday. SSV Lok Bernau dominated down low during the game scoring 40 of its points in the paint compared to RSV Eintracht's 20. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a very good performance for American forward Dan Oppland (203-84, college: Valpo) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Alexander Blessig (188-93, college: Rollins) contributed with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Mubarak Salami (197-96) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and Nigerian forward Chukuka Emili (203-96, college: E.New Mexico) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for RSV Eintracht. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. SSV Lok Bernau moved-up to third place in North, which they share with 4 other teams. RSV Eintracht lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth position with six games lost. SSV Lok Bernau will face Itzehoe (#6) at home in the next round. RSV Eintracht will play against SC Rist Wedel (#3) and hope to win that game.
