Very predictable result when third ranked Gmunden Swans (5-1) won against at home 8th ranked UBSC Graz (1-5) 101-84. The game was mostly controlled by Gmunden Swans. UBSC Graz was better in second period 25-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Gmunden Swans dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to UBSC Graz's 32. They outrebounded UBSC Graz 37-22 including 23 on the defensive glass. Gmunden Swans players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. UBSC Graz will play against Raiffeisen Flyers Wels (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
