Regular Season Round 9: Bremerhaven - Chemnitz 95-103

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (8-1) at the home court on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by Chemnitz (8-1) 103-95. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Eisbaeren Bremerhaven. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Chemnitz looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Chemnitz have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Bremerhaven. Chemnitz is looking forward to face Ehingen/Urspringschule (#13) in Allmendingen in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven will play on the road against Phoenix Hagen (#15) and is hoping to win this game.
