Regular Season Round 6: OGM Orman - Pinar Karsiyaka 83-75

Rather predictable result in Ankara where fourth ranked Ormanspor (4-2) defeated 8th ranked Pinar Karsiyaka (1-5) 83-75 on Sunday. Ormanspor forced 21 Pinar Karsiyaka turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Pinar Karsiyaka was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Batuhan Tumkaya (-2) scored 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Gorkem Guneri (207-1) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Inanc Hotamis (-1) with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and power forward Adem Bona (206-3) scored 21 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). Five Ormanspor and four Pinar Karsiyaka players scored in double figures. Ormanspor moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams. Pinar Karsiyaka lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with five games lost. Ormanspor will face league's leader Anadolu Efes in Istanbul in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Pinar Karsiyaka will play on the road against FMV Isik BB (#10) in Istanbul and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
