There was no surprise when 6th ranked Steaua B. (1-3) was defeated on the road by third ranked Craiova (3-1) 83-77 on Sunday. American Monyea Pratt (196-85, college: Stillman, agency: Court Side) fired a double-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals for the winners. DR Congolese forward Omari Gudul (206-94, college: Angelo St., agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 25 points and 5 rebounds. Four Craiova players scored in double figures. American forward Keith Clanton (205-90, college: UCF) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists (perfect from the field making all six shots) and Montenegrin power forward Radosav Spasojevic (204-92, agency: BeoBasket) added 19 points respectively for lost side. Steaua B.'s coach Catalin Burlacu let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Craiova moved-up to second place in Nationala. Loser Steaua B. dropped to the eighth position with three games lost. Craiova will face CS Dinamo Bucuresti (#6) on the road in the next round. Steaua B. will play against Pitesti and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
