Regular Season Round 8: Wolfpack - Copenhagen 71-65

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Herlev. First ranked Wolfpack faced second-ranked Copenhagen. Host Wolfpack (4-4) defeated guests from Copenhagen (2-6) 71-65. The hosts were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. The winners were led by the former international forward Mathias Seilund (200-90, college: Fair Dickinson) who scored that evening 23 points (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!) and American guard Javion Blake (190, college: Washburn, agency: Haylett Sports) supported him with 15 points. Even 13 points and 9 rebounds by Stefan Jevric (202-98) did not help to save the game for Copenhagen. Filip Rajovic (198-97) added 10 points and 5 assists for the guests. Five Copenhagen players scored in double figures. Wolfpack maintains first position with 4-4 record. Copenhagen lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the third place with six games lost. Wolfpack will have a break next round. Copenhagen will play at home against Svendborg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
