Regular Season Round 8: Svendborg - EBAA 101-91

There was a minor upset when their close opponent EBAA (1-7) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Svendborg (3-4) 101-91 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Svendborg. EBAA was better in third quarter 26-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Svendborg forced 20 EBAA turnovers. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Svendborg maintains fifth position with 3-4 record. EBAA lost seventh consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth place with seven games lost. Svendborg will face higher ranked Copenhagen (#3) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. EBAA will play against Amager BK and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
