An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Kastrup. Top-ranked Bakken faced 4th ranked Amager BK. Guests from Risskov (6-0) smashed host Amager BK (0-6) 97-74. Bakken forced 21 Amager BK turnovers. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. American-Guamanian forward Jonathan Galloway (208-96, college: UC Irvine) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 16 rebounds and 5 blocks. American guard David Efianayi (188-95, college: Gardner-Webb) contributed with 18 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Five Bakken players scored in double figures. American guard Robert Fields (184-88, college: Catawba) replied with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and Australian power forward Louis Timms (206-91, college: Wayland Baptist) added 4 points and 16 rebounds in the effort for Amager BK. Amager BK's coach Almir Zeco gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Bakken have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains third position with 6-0 record despite having the same number of points like the leader Randers. Newly promoted Amager BK still closes the standings with six games lost. Bakken will play against league's second-placed Vaerlose at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Amager BK will play against EBAA in Aarhus and hopes to get finally their first victory.
