Regular Season Round 10: Uni Baskets - Jena 88-98

Very expected game when 9th ranked Uni Baskets (4-5) lost to fifth ranked Science City Jena (8-2) in Paderborn 88-98 on Saturday. Science City Jena looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a very good performance for forward Julius Wolf (203-93) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Naturalized American point guard Brad Loesing (182-89, college: Wofford) contributed with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. American guard Kendale McCullum (185-96, college: Lewis) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 9 rebounds and 11 assists and his fellow American import guard Jackson Trapp (193-92, college: FAU) added 21 points in the effort for Uni Baskets. Five Science City Jena and four Uni Baskets players scored in double figures. Science City Jena moved-up to third place, which they share with Heidelberg. Loser Uni Baskets dropped to the eighth position with five games lost. Science City Jena will face Bayer Giants (#6) in Leverkusen in the next round. Uni Baskets will play on the road against the league's leader Chemnitz and hope to win that game.
