Regular Season Round 10: Bayer Giants - Tuebingen 94-84

The game between closely ranked teams ended with sixth ranked Bayer Giants' (7-3) home victory over 7th ranked Walter Tigers (5-4) in Leverkusen 94-84 on Saturday. American forward Colter Lasher (201-94, college: Houston Baptist) contributed with 22 points and 5 assists for the winners. Bayer Giants' coach Hansi Gnad used an eleven-player rotation saving starting five for next games. American guard Kris Davis (188-93, college: SIUE, agency: Promo Sport ID) replied with 20 points and 6 assists and his fellow American import point guard Diante Baldwin (180-94, college: UNCG) added 16 points in the effort for Walter Tigers. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Bayer Giants have an impressive five-game winning streak. Newly promoted Bayer Giants maintains sixth position with 7-3 record. Loser Walter Tigers keep the seventh place with four games lost. Bayer Giants will face higher ranked Science City Jena (#4) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Walter Tigers will play against the league's second-placed Eisbaeren Bremerhaven and hope to win that game.
