Regular Season Round 8: Horsholm - Lemvig 109-47

Dameligaen top team - Horsholm (7-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed seventh ranked Lemvig (0-7) 109-47. The game without a history. Horsholm led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Lemvig to just 6 points in third quarter. Horsholm dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Lemvig's 26. Horsholm forced 28 Lemvig turnovers and outrebounded them 45-30 including 31 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three nailing 16 long-distance shots on high 53.3 percentage. Horsholm players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Lemvig's players. Worth to mention a quality performance of American guard Sidney Rielly (183-95, college: Portland St.) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and forward Caroline Bornemann (177-1) who added 14 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Horsholm's coach Jesper Rasmussen felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Canadian forward Sofia Paska (193-96) responded with 15 points and 7 rebounds and American guard Kali Koenig (168-95, college: Mobile, AL) scored 16 points and 5 assists. Horsholm have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 7-0 record. Lemvig at the other side still closes the standings with seven games lost. Horsholm will play against Herlev (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Lemvig will play against Aabyhoj (#4) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
