Very predictable result when third ranked Anadolu Efes (6-1) won against on the road 11th ranked Gaziantep (2-5) 88-83 on Sunday. Anadolu Efes looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Gaziantep was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Quite impressive performance for Serbian guard Vasilije Micic (196-94, agency: BeoBasket) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 assists. American Chris Singleton (206-89, college: FSU, agency: Wasserman) contributed with 11 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Anadolu Efes' coach Ergin Ataman allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American guard Jason Rich (191-86) answered with 26 points and 6 assists and the other American import guard Drew Crawford (196-90, college: Northwestern) added 19 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Gaziantep. Five Anadolu Efes and four Gaziantep players scored in double figures. Anadolu Efes have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Gaziantep dropped to the tenth place with five games lost. Anadolu Efes will face Turk Telekom (#9) in Ankara in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Gaziantep will play on the road against Bandirma in Balikesir and hope to win that game.
