Regular Season Round 8: Baunach - OrangeAcademy 78-67

Very expected game when 9th ranked OrangeAcademy (3-5) was defeated on the road by second ranked Baunach (6-2) 78-67. Baunach forced 19 OrangeAcademy turnovers. Point guard Marvin Heckel (190-97) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points. Brandon Tischler (198-0) contributed with 8 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Four Baunach players scored in double figures. Forward Christoph Philipps (203-98) replied with 21 points and forward Moritz Krimmer (202-0, agency: Scorers 1st Sportmanagement) added 11 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for OrangeAcademy. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Baunach maintains second position in South with 6-2 record behind leader Wuerzburg, which they share with Elchingen. OrangeAcademy at the other side keeps the ninth place with five games lost. Baunach's next round opponent will be Loewen (#11) in Erfurt and are hoping to win another game. OrangeAcademy will play at home against Fraport Skyliners II and hope to win that game.
