Regular Season Round 13: Ezerunas - Gargzdu 93-73

There was a minor upset when 8th ranked Gargzdu (5-7) was smashed by tenth ranked Ezerunas (6-7) in Moletai 93-73 on Thursday. Quite impressive performance for Justas Sukelis (195-97) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Swingman Rokas Jukonis (194-90) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Ezerunas players scored in double figures. Laurynas Mikalauskas (205-85, college: Virginia) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 16 rebounds and point guard Jonas Dumasius (188-97) added 12 points in the effort for Gargzdu. Gargzdu's coach Albertas Vilimas tested eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Ezerunas moved-up to seventh place. Loser Gargzdu keeps the eighth position with seven games lost. Ezerunas will have a break next round. Gargzdu will play at home against Perlas (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
