No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked SparkassenStars (4-5) edged on the road 10th ranked Iserlohn (2-7) 87-85 on Saturday. SparkassenStars looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Iserlohn was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American center Zach Haney (211-96, college: Boise St.) who scored 31 points and 9 rebounds (on 14-of-17 shooting from the field). Guard Lars Kamp (187-96) chipped in 17 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was naturalized American swingman Elijah Allen (195-89, college: NW Missouri St.) who recorded 28 points and Ruben Dahmen (193-94) added 15 points and 6 assists respectively. Four Iserlohn players scored in double figures. Iserlohn's coach Milos Stankovic tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
