Regular Season Round 9: Langenhagen - Bramsche TuS 83-64

The game between closely ranked teams ended with seventh ranked Langenhagen's (4-4) home victory over 8th ranked Bramsche TuS (3-6) 83-64 on Saturday. Langenhagen forced 24 Bramsche TuS turnovers. Point guard Samuel Mpacko (187-98, agency: Scorers 1st Sportmanagement) stepped up and scored 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and center Marcel Schwarz (203-90) chipped in 9 points and 9 rebounds. Langenhagen's coach Benjamin Travnizek used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was naturalized Congolese forward Blanchard Obiango (202-88) with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds and Croatian power forward Sasha Cuic (208-83, college: Oregon St.) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds. Four Bramsche TuS players scored in double figures. Langenhagen maintains seventh place in North with 4-4 record. Newly promoted Bramsche TuS dropped to the tenth position with six games lost. Langenhagen will face Rendsburg (#12) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Bramsche TuS will play against the league's leader Wolmirstedt where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
