Regular Season Round 5: Tuebingen YT - Urspring 82-59

Everything went according to plan in Tuenbingen where second ranked Young Tigers (3-1) outscored 4th placed Team Urspring (2-3) 82-59 on Saturday. Young Tigers dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Team Urspring's 24. Young Tigers forced 24 Team Urspring turnovers and outrebounded them 42-25 including a 17-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Point guard Daniel Zacek (180-1) stepped up and scored 18 points and 4 assists for the winners and Matti Sorgius (196-1) chipped in 9 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Young Tigers' coach Kristiyan Borisov felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Bruno Albrecht (190-1) responded with 21 points and guard Maximilian Langenfeld (177-3) scored 12 points. Young Tigers keep a position of B South-East leader, which they share with OrangeAcademy. Loser Team Urspring keeps the fourth place with three games lost. Young Tigers will face again Team Urspring (#4) on the road in the next round.
