There was an upset in Allgau/Memmingen where leader OrangeAcademy (3-1) was defeated by fifth ranked Jahn Muenchen (2-3) 81-74 on Saturday. Jahn Muenchen forced 28 OrangeAcademy turnovers. Strangely OrangeAcademy outrebounded Jahn Muenchen 50-33 including 18 on the offensive glass. OrangeAcademy was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Robert Becker (195-2) stepped up and scored 23 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and point guard Philipp Bode (179-1) chipped in 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Jahn Muenchen's coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Hungarian center Adam Krasovec (205-1) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and Serbian center Lazar Scekic (212-1) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds. Four OrangeAcademy players scored in double figures. Jahn Muenchen moved-up to fourth place in B South-East, which they share with Team Urspring. Loser OrangeAcademy still keeps top position with one game lost. Jahn Muenchen will face league's leader Dresden T. at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. OrangeAcademy will play again against Jahn Muenchen and hope to win that game.
