An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Fethiye. Second ranked Fethiye faced 4th ranked Manisa. Host Fethiye (5-1) defeated guests from Manisa (3-3) 72-63. Strangely Manisa outrebounded Fethiye 32-20 including 22 on the defensive glass. Forward Murat Erensoy (201-91) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard Erick Neal (178-95, college: UT Arlington) chipped in 11 points and 10 assists during the contest. Neal is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The best for the losing side was American point guard Isiah Umipig (183-92, college: Seattle) with 20 points and 6 assists and forward Cenk Sekeroglu (203-91) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. Manisa's coach Ceyhun Cabadak let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Fethiye used an opportunity after Balikesir lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Manisa at the other side dropped to the eighth place with three games lost. They share the position with 4 other teams. Fethiye will meet Samsun (#14) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Manisa will play against Ankara B. (#15) and hope to secure a win.
