Regular Season Round 8: Bahcehir - Fenerbahce 61-76

U19 League top team - Fenerbahce (7-1) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat ninth ranked Bahcehir (2-6) in Acibadem 76-61. They outrebounded Bahcehir 55-27 including a 25-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Bahcehir was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Center Ismail Karabilen (206-1) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 18 rebounds and 5 assists. Azerbaijani center Saadettin Donat (204-1) contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) for the winners. Four Fenerbahce players scored in double figures. Bartu Yilmaz (-1) replied with 22 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and Ali Yuceoral (-2) added 11 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Bahcehir. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Fenerbahce have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 7-1 record, which they share with TAC NEF and Tofas. Loser Bahcehir dropped to the eighth place with six games lost. Fenerbahce will face Afyon (#10) in Afyonkarahisar in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Bahcehir will play at home against Ozel Gelisim Koleji and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
