Regular Season Round 9: Muenster - Oldenburg 58-56

Very expected game when 11th ranked Oldenburg (2-7) was edged on the road by fourth ranked Muenster (6-3) 58-56 on Saturday. However just two-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Muenster forced 19 Oldenburg turnovers. The best player for the winners was American guard Jojo Cooper (183-95, college: Wagner) who scored 16 points. Stefan Wess (204-94) chipped in 17 points. Muenster's coach Phillip Kappenstein used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Marcel Kessen (207-97) who recorded 22 points and 9 rebounds and Hendrik Drescher (207-0) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively.
