There was a minor upset when higher ranked Rostock (3-7) was defeated at home by fifteenth ranked Ehingen/Urspringschule (3-7) 85-80 on Sunday. Ehingen/Urspringschule forced 20 Rostock turnovers. Rostock was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for American Erik Scheive (208-97, college: Chaminade, agency: Players Group) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 7 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Cullen Neal (193-94, college: St.Mary's, CA) helped adding 20 points and 6 rebounds. Center Kalidou Diouf (206-94, college: CBU) responded with 20 points and 7 rebounds and guard Mauricio Marin (193-94) scored 17 points. Rostock's coach Milan Skobalj rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Ehingen/Urspringschule moved-up to tenth place, which they share with 6 other teams including defeated Rostock. Ehingen/Urspringschule will face Lions (#14) in Karlsruhe in the next round.
