Regular Season Round 8: TAC NEF - Darussafaka 64-49

An interesting game for TAC NEF (7-1) which hosted in Tarsus 4th ranked Darussafaka (4-4). Second ranked TAC NEF had an easy win 64-49. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Darussafaka. TAC NEF dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Darussafaka's 24. The winners were led by Berkay Civgin (-1) who scored that evening 12 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and Berkan Silindir (-1) supported him with 11 points and 7 rebounds. Even 10 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists by Said Yosmaoglu (-3) did not help to save the game for Darussafaka. Hasan Uzun (189-3) added 14 points for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. TAC NEF have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Fenerbahce and Tofas. Loser Darussafaka keeps the fourth place with four games lost. They share the position with 4 other teams. TAC NEF will meet FMV Isik BB (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Darussafaka's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Istanbul Besiktas.
