Bottom-ranked Marijampoles (0-6) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 68-65 loss to eighth ranked Vilniaus KM II (3-3) in Marijampole. Four Marijampoles players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Vilniaus KM II moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Siauliu and Tornado KM. Marijampoles lost their sixth game in a row. They still close the standings with six games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Vilniaus KM II will play against bottom-ranked Zalgiris II (#12) in Kaunas in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Marijampoles will play on the road against Siauliu in Siauliai and hopes to get finally their first victory.
