Very expected game when 10th ranked Urla BLD (3-6) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Duzce Bld (5-4) 74-69 on Wednesday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Duzce Bld dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Urla BLD's 28. They outrebounded Urla BLD 53-42 including 17 on the offensive glass. Duzce Bld looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Duzce Bld made 7 blocks. Duzce Bld have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted Duzce Bld maintains sixth position with 5-4 record, which they share with Bursa BSB. Loser Urla BLD dropped to the twelfth place with six games lost. Duzce Bld will face league's leader Istanbul Uni at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Urla BLD will play against the league's second-placed Emlak Konut (#2) and hope to win that game.
