There was a minor upset when higher ranked Herzogenaurach (4-5) was defeated on the road by thirteenth ranked Schwabing (4-5) 85-74 on Thursday. Schwabing dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Herzogenaurach's 36. Tristan Da Silva (203-1) fired 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Nick Freer (198-85, college: GVSU) chipped in 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Schwabing's coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest.
