Regular Season Round 15: Silales Lusis - Suduva-Mantinga 73-83

Very expected game in Rietavas where 13th ranked Silales Lusis (4-10) was defeated by third ranked Suduva-Mantinga (11-3) 83-73 on Thursday. Suduva-Mantinga looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a great evening for point guard Tomas Galeckas (183-94) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 7 rebounds, 10 assists and 5 steals. Center Edvinas Jezukevicius (207-90) helped adding 16 points. The best for the losing side was forward Valdas Undraitis (200-90) with 17 points and Martynas Seputis (190-94) scored 11 points and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Silales Lusis' coach Valdemaras Kasmauskas let to play ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Suduva-Mantinga maintains third place with 11-3 record behind leader Telsiai. Silales Lusis lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the fourteenth position with ten games lost. Suduva-Mantinga will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Silales Lusis will play again against Suduva-Mantinga (#3) in Marijampole and hope to secure a win.
