Regular Season Round 15: Gargzdu - Delikatesas 79-68

There was a small surprise in Gargzdai where ninth ranked Gargzdu (6-8) beat 7th ranked Delikatesas (6-8) 79-68 on Thursday. Gargzdu looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for point guard Deividas Anuzis (183-92) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. Laurynas Mikalauskas (205-85, college: Virginia) helped adding 11 points and 19 rebounds. The best for the losing side was international Andrius Globys (198-95) with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Aistis Pilauskas (188-98) scored 15 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Gargzdu and four Delikatesas players scored in double figures. Gargzdu moved-up to eighth place, which they share with defeated Delikatesas. Gargzdu will again meet Delikatesas (#9) in the next round. Delikatesas will have a break next round.
