Regular Season Round 10: Triglav - Ledita D. 73-71

The most exciting game of round 10 in the SKL took place in Kranj. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of one of their biggest challengers Ledita D. (6-3) to fifth ranked Triglav (5-3) 73-71 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Ledita D.. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 73-71. American forward Alexis Burke (180-92, college: Rutgers) fired 22 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Bosnian Lejla Omerbasic (182-97) chipped in 22 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Eva Prevodnik (166-99) produced 15 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists (made all of her ten free throws !!!) and center Lara Bubnic (173-99) added 17 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Ledita D. players scored in double figures. Triglav moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Grosbasket. Newly promoted Ledita D. keeps the third position with three games lost. Triglav is looking forward to face Domzale (#7) on the road in the next round. Ledita D. will play against the league's leader Celje (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
