Regular Season Round 7: Constanta - Marmatiei 85-66

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th ranked Marmatiei's (1-6) road loss to fifth ranked Constanta (3-5) 66-85 on Saturday. Constanta outrebounded Marmatiei 41-29 including 28 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for American forward Kyle Kilgore (201, college: Dakota St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import forward Rahsaan Williams (206, college: Felician) helped adding 10 points and 13 rebounds. At the losing side Belarusian-Moldovan Vladislav Solopa (202-95) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and American guard Corey Henderson (193-95, college: Tulsa) scored 15 points and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Constanta maintains fifth place in Nationala with 3-5 record. Loser Marmatiei dropped to the seventh position with six games lost. Constanta will face league's leader Voluntari in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Marmatiei will play against Galati (#3) and hope to win that game.
