Important game to mention about took place in Mersin. Seventh ranked Antalya 07 (5-3) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 14th ranked Mersin Uni (2-7) 88-86 on Sunday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. It was a great shooting night for Antalya 07 especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Loryn Goodwin (175-94, college: Oklahoma St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 31 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists and naturalized Swedish guard Meryem Gultekin (166-90) who added 19 points and 7 assists during the contest. American forward Dekeiya Cohen (188-96, college: Baylor, agency: LBM Management) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 16 rebounds and 6 assists and Sevgi Yasa (-98) scored 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Antalya 07 and four Mersin Uni players scored in double figures. Mersin Uni's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Antalya 07 moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Nesibe. Loser Mersin Uni dropped to the fifteenth position with seven games lost. Antalya 07 will face Sakarya Y. (#9) in the next round where they are favorite. Mersin Uni will play against Bursa BSB (#6) and hope to win that game.
