Important game to mention about took place in Bamberg. Seventh ranked s Oliver Baskets (6-4) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 4th ranked Brose Baskets (7-4) 72-69 on Tuesday evening. Brose Baskets were plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. American point guard Cameron Wells (186-88, college: Citadel) scored 13 points to lead the charge for the winners and DR Congolese forward Junior Etou (203-94, college: Tulsa) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side forward Louis Olinde (205-98) responded with 15 points and 6 rebounds and Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-92, college: Minn.St.-Mankato) scored 12 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. s Oliver Baskets moved-up to sixth place, which they share with EWE Baskets. Brose Baskets at the other side keep the fourth position with four games lost. s Oliver Baskets will play against Giessen 46ers (#13) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
