No shocking result in a game in Adana where fifth ranked Nesibe (6-3) smashed bottom-ranked Botas (1-8) 84-56 on Friday. Nesibe shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 56.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. American power forward Patricia Bright (193-91, college: Oregon St., agency: LBM Management) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and forward Ebru Torun (175-87, agency: 1andBox Sports Agency) chipped in 21 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Betul Kutlu (170-97, agency: 1andBox Sports Agency) with 12 points and 6 rebounds and Isilay Egin (-1) scored 11 points and 8 rebounds. Botas' coach Cemal Gozeneli gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Nesibe moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Antalya 07. Newly promoted Botas stay at the bottom position with eight games lost. Nesibe will meet at home Edremit (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Botas will play against Fenerbahce G. (#13) in Istanbul and hope to win that game.
