Regular Season Round 11: Rhoendorf - Wulfen 120-86

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Dragons Rhoendorf (11-3) crushed at home 11th ranked BSV Wulfen (5-9) 120-86 on Saturday. Dragons Rhoendorf dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to BSV Wulfen's 42. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 56.5 percentage. Dragons Rhoendorf looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by BSV Wulfen's players. Kilian Binapfl (197-0) orchestrated the victory by scoring 31 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field). American swingman Curtis Hollis (198-98, college: Hutchinson CC) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Dragons Rhoendorf players scored in double figures. Dragons Rhoendorf's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. American point guard Bryant Allen (183-90, college: Dakota St.) answered with 27 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Alexander Winck (195-0) added 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for BSV Wulfen. Dragons Rhoendorf have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain second place in West with 11-3 record having just five point less than leader Ansbach. Newly promoted BSV Wulfen dropped to the twelfth position with nine games lost. Dragons Rhoendorf will face Grevenbroich (#8) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. BSV Wulfen will play against Hertener Loewen (#5) and hope to win that game.
