No shocking result in a game when second ranked Silute (15-2) defeated on the road 11th ranked Taurages (5-12) 93-84. They outrebounded Taurages 35-22 including 23 on the defensive glass. American guard Byron Sanford (182-93, college: Trevecca Naz.) notched 17 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the effort and the other American import swingman Omar Alston (203-97, college: Morehouse) supported him with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Even 26 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) by point guard Karolis Babkauskas (185-91, agency: Agency) did not help to save the game for Taurages. Point guard Tadas Sebeziovas (183-85) added 15 points and 6 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Silute have an impressive nine-game winning streak.
