Regular Season Round 6: Mykolaiv - Prometey 73-92

Superleague top team - Prometey (8-1) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed seventh ranked Mykolaiv (3-7) 92-73. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Mykolaiv. The game was mostly controlled by Prometey. Mykolaiv was better in third quarter 22-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for American forward Mike Myers (206-92, college: UMES, agency: Network Sports International) who led his team to a victory with 19 points and 7 rebounds. The former international guard Denys Lukashov (197-89, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) contributed with 10 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Four Prometey players scored in double figures. American point guard QJ Peterson (183-94, college: VMI) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists and Nigerian-Russian center Aleksey Adediran (201-82, college: Binghamton) added 11 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Mykolaiv. Mykolaiv's coach Vitaliy Cherniy rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Newly promoted Prometey maintains first position with 8-1 record. Loser Mykolaiv keeps the seventh place with seven games lost. Prometey will face league's second-placed Dnipro at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
