Very expected game when 15th ranked Mersin Uni (2-8) was rolled over on the road by seventh ranked Bursa BSB (6-4) 83-54 on Saturday. Bursa BSB dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Mersin Uni's 24. Bursa BSB forced 19 Mersin Uni turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American center Jatarie White (193-95, college: Texas) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and guard Rabia Celebi (167-85, agency: 1andBox Sports Agency) chipped in 10 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. The best for the losing side was American forward Dekeiya Cohen (188-96, college: Baylor, agency: LBM Management) with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 16 rebounds and Avinar Kaya (-98) scored 11 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bursa BSB moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Duzce Bld. Mersin Uni lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth position with eight games lost. Bursa BSB will meet at home higher ranked Antalya 07 (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Mersin Uni will play against Duzce Bld (#7) and hope to secure a win.
